Why MyHalalGrowth exists
Many Muslims want to save and invest for their families, their retirement and their future. But the most common financial products, such as savings accounts, bonds and many conventional funds, are built on interest. In Islam, interest is called riba, and the Qur’an forbids it clearly (Al-Baqarah 2:275).
MyHalalGrowth exists to help you grow your wealth without riba. We explain the halal options in plain English, so you can make informed choices with confidence.
What we do
- Show you the options. Many people simply don’t know that halal alternatives exist. We explain them, from Shariah-screened stocks to sukuk, Islamic funds and halal home financing.
- Answer the hard questions honestly. Is Islamic finance really different, or is it just interest with a new name? We look at how the structures actually work, including their weaknesses.
- Ground everything in evidence. We reference the Qur’an, authentic hadith and recognized scholarly standards, such as those published by AAOIFI. When scholars disagree, we present the main views fairly.
- Review providers. We look at halal investment platforms, apps and Shariah screening services, and tell you what we find, including the downsides.

Who is behind MyHalalGrowth
MyHalalGrowth was founded by a tech professional and long-time finance enthusiast. Having spent years navigating the complexities of the modern stock market while trying to strictly adhere to Islamic values, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find transparent, unbiased, and reliable information on Shariah-compliant investing. This platform was created to transform that personal journey and research into a shared resource—helping our community grow their wealth confidently, ethically, and without compromising their faith.
